Meet Hollis: Teaching the World About Love

At just five years old, Hollis Lippard has already changed more lives than most people do in a lifetime.

Born with an extra chromosome, Hollis is the youngest of five children and, as her family lovingly describes her, "the little heartbeat of our home." She has a remarkable way of drawing people in. Family members gather around her. Friends seek her out. Complete strangers are often touched by her presence.

There is something special about the way Hollis sees the world—and the way she sees people.

She seems to sense what others need, even when they don't have the words to express it themselves. Through a smile, a hug, a dance, or a simple interaction, Hollis has a gift for communicating love. Time and again, she has reached people in ways that are difficult to explain and impossible to forget. Her family has watched her touch hearts, lift spirits, and bring comfort simply by being herself.

"It's remarkable," her family says. "She has access to people's hearts and silent needs and has changed them."

Hollis loves dancing, playing games with her siblings, and spending time with the people she loves. Her joy is contagious, but so is her wisdom. The qualities her differences ask others to develop—patience, understanding, flexibility, and a new perspective—are the very qualities she returns a hundredfold through her unconditional love.

It's almost as if people have to make room for Hollis in their lives. They slow down. They become more present. They learn to see things differently. And in the space that creates, Hollis fills it with joy, connection, and love.

For her family, that transformation feels nothing short of miraculous.

Her journey has not been easy. Hollis was born with esophageal atresia, a serious condition that required extensive medical care from the very beginning of her life. She has undergone more than 30 surgeries, and at one point, her family relocated to Boston for two months so she could receive specialized treatment.

Through every hospital stay, procedure, challenge, and recovery, Hollis has shown extraordinary resilience. Despite everything she has endured, she continues to teach those around her what truly matters.

She teaches patience.

She teaches perseverance.

She teaches unconditional love.

And she reminds everyone she meets that joy can coexist with hardship.

Another exciting chapter in Hollis's story has been her work modeling for inclusive brands. Through these opportunities, she has helped represent children with disabilities and celebrate the beauty of inclusion. Her confidence, patience, and persistence shine through every project she takes on—qualities that continue to surprise and inspire those around her.

Hollis reminds us that strength isn't always loud, healing doesn't always happen in hospitals, and some of life's greatest lessons come from the smallest teachers.

Thank you, Hollis, for showing us what love looks like in action.
